Colonel’s Blog, Earthdate 5 September 2023…

Hey Y’all!

Good evening and happy Tuesday from Air2Ground Farms! The weather was a bit cooler today but no rain. We are under a severe thunderstorm watch tonight, we’d love the rain but can do without the “storm” portion! The animals are doing well today, with one highlight. We took 3 ewe lambs to a local family today so they can start their own flock. It was a bit of an ordeal to catch the 3 of them as they were roaming a pretty big paddock, maybe an acre or so. We were winded and sweated down by the time we got them into the truck. Actually, they joined the flock with the 4 ewe lambs we delivered a couple of weeks ago. The 7 of them rejoined and were happy to be together. The piglets are doing well and seem to be completely adjusted to their new home. In a couple of days, they will start their training on the electric wire. Papa showed up and started mowing the pastures. The hills are looking great!
